Submit a Sunset Program Proposal in Coursedog
This guide will demonstrate how to access and submit a Sunset Program Proposal in Coursedog. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. For users with access to multiple Coursedog modules, please check that you are working in the desired module. If you need to switch modules, select theicon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Submit a Sunset Program Proposal Step 1: On the Coursedog Curriculum landing page, select the Programs option under the Curriculum Management menu. Step 2: On the Programs page, select how to browse the programs; by Dates or by Terms, then select the Start/End Dates or Start/End Terms. To search for a specific program, use the Search field on the right side of the screen. Click on a program to open it. Step 3: On the program screen, select Propose Changes under Actions on the right side of the screen. Step 4: In the Edit program screen, open the dropdown menu and select Sunset Program. Step 5: Select Submit. Step 6: Under the Executive Summary section, provide information in the Please provide a narrative overview of the changes you are proposing and the rationale for said changes text box. Step 7: Fill in all required information plus any additional information as necessary in the Sunset Program section. All required information fields are marked as such. Step 8: When all information has been entered, select Submit Proposal under Actions on the right side of the screen.

How to Review Proposals in Coursedog
This guide will detail how to review course and program proposals in Coursedog. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. For users with access to multiple Coursedog modules, please check that you are working in the desired module. If you need to switch modules, select theicon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Review Proposals Step 1: On the Coursedog Curriculum landing page, all proposals that have tasks for you to complete will be shown under the Things to do section. Select the item you wish to review. Step 2: On the proposal page, review all the information listed in the proposal. This information includes the School, Course Title, and Periods Typically Offered. Step 3: When the proposal has been reviewed, view the Proposal Toolbox on the right side of the screen. When the proposal has been reviewed, select Proposal Reviewed to register that you have viewed the proposal. Use the Please comment on your decision box if you would like to leave any comments regarding the proposal. When you are finished, select Submit Decision.

This guide will show how to approve, deny, or route back a curriculum proposal in Coursedog. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. For users with access to multiple Coursedog modules, please check that you are working in the desired module. If you need to switch modules, select theicon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Approve Proposals in Coursedog Step 1: On the Coursedog Curriculum landing page, select the desired proposal under the Things to do section. Step 2: On the left side of the proposal screen, the Curriculum Course Proposal displays information about the proposal type, author, course, and Executive Summary. Other information shown in the proposal includes the school, primary academic unit, subject code, and periods typically offered. Step 3: When the proposal has been reviewed, view the Proposal Toolbox on the right side of the screen. Step 4: Select Approve to move the proposal forward to the next step in the process. Select Reject to reject the proposal entirely. Select Route Back to send the proposal back to the author. Use the “Please comment on your decision below.” box to leave comments on why the proposal is being approved, rejected, or to inform the author of proposed edits that must be made before the proposal can be approved at this step. Step 5: Once a decision has been selected and comments are entered, select Submit Decision.

How to Archive Proposals in Coursedog
This guide will outline how to archive completed proposals in Coursedog. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. For users with access to multiple Coursedog modules, please check that you are working in the desired module. If you need to switch modules, select theicon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Archive Proposals in Coursedog Step 1: Select Proposals from the Curriculum Management menu on the left side of the screen. Step 2: On the Proposals dashboard, select the Created By Me option. Step 3: Select the proposal to archive from the provided list. Step 4: On the Course Proposal page, select Archive Proposal. Step 5: A dialog box will appear, confirming the proposal is now archived. The Archive Proposal button will now show as Unarchive Proposal. Step 6: Select All Proposals to return to the main Proposals dashboard. Step 7: The archived proposal can now be located under Archived Requests on the Proposal dashboard.

Create an Agenda in Coursedog
This guide will show how to access, create, add to, and email proposal agendas in Coursedog. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. For users with access to multiple Coursedog modules, please check that you are working in the desired module. If you need to switch modules, select theicon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Creating an Agenda Step 1: Select Agendas from the Curriculum Management menu on the left side of the screen, then select + Add Agenda. Step 2: Enter all required information plus any additional information as desired. Step 3: Select + Proposals to attach proposals for discussion to the agenda. Step 4: In the Select Proposals window, click on a proposal to add it to the agenda. Use the search bar to find and select specific proposals. Click Close when done adding proposals to the agenda. Step 5: All selected proposals are now attached to the agenda. To add additional proposals, select the + Proposals button under the attached agendas. Step 6: To add attendees to the agenda, click on the Attendees field and type in a name to select the attendee. Step 7: Select Add Files to attach any additional documentation to the agenda. Step 8: To make changes to the email template, select Edit Email Template. Images and additional information can be added to this window. Once all changes have been made, click Save. Step 9: Once all information has been entered, click Submit to create the agenda. Step 10: Before the agenda is saved, a popup window asks if notifications should be sent to attendees. Select Yes or No. The agenda will now be saved on the Agendas page.

Review an Agenda in Coursedog Step 1: On the Curriculum Management menu, select the Agendas icon. Step 2: On the Agendas page, select the desired agenda. Step 3: The agenda information page shows the details of the meeting, including date, meeting type, and start and end times. All proposals for the agenda are listed under Proposals. Select an individual proposal to view the proposal details. Step 4: View the list of attendees by selecting Attendees. View attached documentation by selecting Attachments. Export the agenda as a PDF by selecting Export.

Create, Edit, and Delete Committees in Coursedog
This guide will outline how to create and edit committees for curriculum management in Coursedog. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. For users with access to multiple Coursedog modules, please check that you are working in the desired module. If you need to switch modules, select theicon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Create Committees in Coursedog Step 1: On the Curriculum Management landing page, select Settings, then select Committees. Step 2: Select +Add Committee. Step 3: In the Add New Committee window, all required information is marked with a red required symbol or a red asterisk. Search using the Members dropdown menu to add users to the committee. When all required and supplemental information is entered, select Submit. Edit or Delete Committees in Coursedog Step 1: On the Curriculum Management landing page, select Settings, then select Committees. Step 2: Click on the desired committee in the Committees list. Step 3: Enter information into the text fields or use the dropdown menus to make changes to the committee profile. Please note: All changes made in this section are automatically saved in the system. Step 4: To delete the committee profile, select the Delete Committee button in the upper right corner of the screen. To return to the committee list, select Back to All Committee.

Create and Save Custom Views in Coursedog
This guide will show how to customize a view in specific screens and then save the view for use later. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. For users with access to multiple Coursedog modules, please check that you are working in the desired module. If you need to switch modules, select theicon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Create and Save Custom Views A default view with specific columns has been created in each module. To create and save a custom view, please follow these steps. This example is from the Courses menu in the Curriculum Management module. Step 1: Open the Columns dropdown menu. Step 2: Rearrange the displayed column order by selecting the icon next to the column item and dragging it to the new position. Step 3: To save a created view, select the Saved Views icon. Step 4: In the Saved views window, the default view and any saved views will be displayed here. The list can be sorted by Name or Creation Date. To search for a specific saved view, use the search bar. To change to a different view, select the desired view from the list. To save a new view, select Save Current View. Step 5: After selecting Save Current View, the Save view window will appear. Enter the name for the saved view in the Name field, then enter optional information in the Description field. Select Save when done. Step 6: The new saved view will now be displayed when the Saved Views icon is selected. To delete a saved view, select the red trash can icon on the right side of the saved view.

This guide will show how to create and apply search filters in Coursedog. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. If you need to switch modules, select theicon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Create and Apply Filters in Coursedog Step 1: On the Coursedog homepage, select Courses under the Curriculum Management menu. Please note that this guide is using Courses as the example, but the user can also apply filters to other areas like Programs or Proposals. Step 2: In the Course Dashboard, select the Filter button in the top right corner. Step 3: In the Course & Section Filters window, select +Add Filter. Step 4: The filter will appear with fields for the type of item to filter for, the condition it will work within, and the value of the item. Step 5: Select the item type. Step 6: Select the condition for the filter. Step 7: Select a value or enter information into the value field. Please note that the selected item type can change the value field from a text field to a dropdown menu for the user to select or enter information. Step 8: To add additional filters, select the + Add Filter button. Select Apply Filter to close the window. Please note that using the And connector will allow the user to drill down for more specific results, while the Or connector will provide a broader range of results. Step 9: The applied filters will create a new list of results. The Filter button displays the number of filters applied to the results and the green color shows that the filter is active. The X button allows you to quickly remove all applied filters. To review the filter settings, click on the green main area to return to the Filter window.

Access and Edit Account Settings in Coursedog
This guide will show how to access the Account Settings section of Coursedog and set default views, terms, and email notification preferences. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. For users with access to multiple Coursedog modules, please check that you are working in the desired module. If you need to switch modules, select theicon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Set Up Account Settings in Coursedog Based on your roles within the various Coursedog modules, the options presented on these pages may differ from what is shown on your screen. On the Curriculum Management landing page, select the Profile dropdown menu in the upper left corner of the screen, then select Account Settings. Coursedog uses a default setting for Terms and Default Views. These settings will determine what information is shown when Curriculum Management loads. To change the term, select an option from the Default term dropdown menu under Profile Settings. To change the default view on a specific module page, use the dropdown menu to select a Saved View and set that as the primary view for that screen. Under Request Email Notification Preferences, there are two options for receiving email notifications from Coursedog: Immediate or Daily Digest. To change the email notification preference for a specific Coursedog product, select the option button in the corresponding row and column.
