Request Leave of Absence in Workday
This article will walk a student through requesting a leave of absence in Workday. Step 1: From your Workday homepage, Search: Request Leave of Absence Step 2: Enter Leave Start Date and select Leave of Absence Reason. Note: Leave of Absence Start Date cannot be after the last date to withdraw from current registrations. To enter leave of absence for a future academic period, enter a Leave Start Date that is on the last day of the current academic period. Step 3: Select OK Step 4: Review selected academic period and check off Confirm Leave of Absence box – Select Submit Step 5: Review the Details and Process tabs for completed actions and the next steps for approving this request. Request Institutional Withdrawal in Workday

View Your Holds in Workday
This article will walk a student through viewing their holds in Workday. Step 1: Select your profile image on the Workday homepage – Select View Profile Note: If you are not a student worker, skip to Step 4. Step 2: If you are a student worker, locate the section showing your Worker and Student profiles. Step 3: Select your name under your Student profile. Note: You can easily differentiate between the two profiles by the taskbar options that appear in the left-hand menu after you select one of your profile types. Step 4: Select Action Items and Holds tab. From Active Holds tab, you can sort through and view each hold on your student account. Experiencing an issue or need additional support? View My Courses in Workday
This article walks a student through using the View My Courses report in Workday. Quick Search: View My Courses Request Course Step 1: From your Workday homepage, select Menu on the top left corner and choose the Academics worklet in Apps tab. Step 2: Select View My Courses located in the Planning & Registration section. Step 3: Review the courses that you have successfully enrolled in by their Academic Period. Note: This report only includes course sections for which a student has successfully registered and have not yet been graded. View My Grades in Workday
This article walks a student through using the View My Grades report in Workday. Quick Search: View My Grades Request Course Step 1: From your Workday homepage, select Menu on the top left corner and choose the Academics worklet in Apps tab. Step 2: Located in the Academic Records section, select either View My Grades to view your final grades, or View My Interim Grades to view your interim (midterm) grades. Step 3: Select the Academic Period from the available options in the drop-down list for the period in which you would like to view final grades. Note: This report only includes course sections for which a student has received a final grade in Workday. If an Academic Period does not appear as an option in the drop-down list, then there are no final grades currently assigned to this student’s record for the courses in that period. Ungraded courses will appear in the Current Courses tab of a student's Academic Profile. For more information regarding final grades, please note that students will need to reach out directly to the course instructor(s) for further assistance. Step 4: Select OK. Step 5: Review final grades and other course section information for the previously selected Academic Period. Viewing My Academic Progress in Workday
Your Academic Progress Report helps to track progress toward the academic requirements associated with your Program(s) of Study. Step 1: From the Workday homepage, select View Profile from your Profile picture in the top right corner. Step 2: From your profile, select the Academics tab. Note: If you are also a Student Worker, please follow the steps in the user guide for Navigating Between your Student and Worker Profiles. Step 3: From your Academics tab, navigate to the Academic Progress tab. You may have to select “More” from the drop down. Review Courses that Satisfy Requirements Step 1: From your Academic Progress, navigate to your Program Requirements section to view the individual Academic Requirements that make up your Program of Study: Step 2: Review the courses that are being used to satisfy each Academic Requirement by viewing the Satisfied With: Registrations Used column. Step 3: Click on an individual Academic Requirement to view additional details. Review Unused Registrations Step 1: At the top of your Program of Study Requirements on your Academic Progress Report, you will see a section named Unused Registrations. Step 2: Click into Unused Registrations to view which registration(s) are not currently being allocated toward an Academic Requirement and the associated Reason. Common reasons can include: Didn’t Match: Registrations that don’t match the criteria of any Academic Requirements currently associated with your Program of Study. Didn’t Satisfy: Registrations that don’t meet the Requirements configured for your Program of Study for one or more reasons (e.g., the assigned grade was insufficient). In Excess: Other registrations are currently being used to satisfy the Academic Requirement(s) associated with your Program of Study.
