Request Leave of Absence in Workday
This article will walk a student through requesting a leave of absence in Workday.
Step 1: From your Workday homepage, Search: Request Leave of Absence

Step 2: Enter Leave Start Date and select Leave of Absence Reason.
Note: Leave of Absence Start Date cannot be after the last date to withdraw from current registrations. To enter leave of absence for a future academic period, enter a Leave Start Date that is on the last day of the current academic period.

Step 3: Select OK

Step 4: Review selected academic period and check off Confirm Leave of Absence box – Select Submit

Step 5: Review the Details and Process tabs for completed actions and the next steps for approving this request. The Remaining Process button will also show additional information – Select Done
