Types of Classrooms

Interactive Hybrid Classroom

Interactive Hybrid classrooms include standard and wireless projection, video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and built-in zoom conferencing. Interactive Hybrid Classrooms contain the following equipment:

• Auto tracking cameras
• Ceiling microphones for video conferencing 
• Ceiling speakers 
• Interactive whiteboard display 
• 24” Podium mounted computer monitor 
• Zoom Rooms
• Solstice Wireless Projection 
• Standard HDMI/USB C Projection 

Standard Hybrid Classroom

Standard Hybrid Classrooms include video conferencing, standard, and wireless projection. AMS is in the process of upgrading all standard hybrid Classrooms to include 24” podium mounted computer monitors and built-in zoom conferencing. Standard Hybrid Classrooms contain the following equipment: 

• Auto tracking cameras
• Ceiling microphones for video conferencing 
• Ceiling speakers 
• Solstice Wireless Projection 
• Standard HDMI/USB C Projection 
• 24” Podium mounted computer monitor 
• Zoom Rooms

General Classroom (Non-Hybrid)

General Classrooms include standard and wireless projection. General Classrooms contain the following equipment:

• Ceiling Speakers
• Standard HDMI/VGA Projection
• Solstice Wireless Projection 

Zoom Room Only Classroom

Zoom Rooms is a conference room software that makes starting or joining a meeting simple and seamless. You can start a Zoom Meeting with just a tap of the button on our touch panels. With Zoom Rooms, you can join meetings wirelessly, share content effortlessly, and utilize your classroom technology such as cameras, microphones, and speakers.

New Zoom Room Classroom Features: 

• Touch Panel 
  • Touch panel uses Zoom interface 
  • Manage all Zoom features directly from panel 
• Screen Sharing 
  • Zoom Screen Share for wireless presentation 
  • HDMI for wired presentation  
• Camera and Microphone 
  • Automatically routed, no need to plug in cables or change settings for cameras or microphones 
  • Multi Camera Mode with presenter and audience view 
• Zoom Meeting recordings are sent via email to the host after the session
