Request Access to Coursedog
To request access to Coursedog, please follow these steps to submit an IT ticket: 1. Navigate to the "Report an Issue" category. 2. Select "Accounts, Access & Security" 3. Under "Sub-Categrory Issue", choose Okta 4. In the description box, specify the module you need access to and include the corresponding contact lead for a faster response. How to Log into Coursedog
This guide explains how to find and log into Coursedog, then select the correct Coursedog module for the user's needs. Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. This action takes the user to the Coursedog landing page. To switch to a different Coursedog module, select the icon in the upper right corner of the screen, then select the desired module. Please note that your module options will vary depending on your user role within Coursedog.

How to Submit a Course Proposal in Coursedog
This guide will show how to create and submit a new course proposal in Coursedog. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. For users with access to multiple Coursedog modules, please check that you are working in the desired module. If you need to switch modules, select theicon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Submit a Course Proposal Step 1: On the Coursedog Curriculum landing page, select the + New Proposal option on the right side of the screen. Step 2: Select Course Proposal in the What would you like to do today? dropdown menu, then select New Course (Requires Approval) from the What type of proposal would you like to request? dropdown menu. Step 3: Select Go to Form. Step 4: In the Executive Summary section, select the Academic Level (Career) from the dropdown menu. Please note that if this proposal is for an undergraduate course, the Please provide the rationale for proposing this new course text box is required. Step 5: Select the correct school from the School dropdown menu. Step 6: Fill in all required information plus any additional information as necessary. All required information fields are marked as such. Step 7: When all information has been entered, select Submit Proposal on the right side of the screen under Actions.

How to Edit a Course Proposal in Coursedog
This article will detail how to edit a course proposal in Coursedog. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. For users with access to multiple Coursedog modules, please check that you are working in the desired module. If you need to switch modules, select the icon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Edit a Course Proposal Step 1: On the Coursedog Curriculum landing page, select the + New Proposal option on the right side of the screen. Step 2: Select Course Proposal in the What would you like to do today? dropdown menu, then select Edit Course from the What type of proposal would you like to request? dropdown menu. Step 3: The form requires additional information before proceeding. Select the Effective Start Term and Effective End Term from the dropdown menus. Enter information into the Select Course field to search for a specific course, then select that course. Step 4: Select Go to Form. Step 5: Select the correct school from the School dropdown menu. Step 6: Fill in all required information. To edit a specific option, select YES on the left side of the screen. This will make the right side of the screen editable, allowing changes to be made. Step 7: When all changes have been completed, select Submit Proposal on the right side of the screen under Actions. Select View Changes to see where the new content is replacing the original content. Select Delete Proposal to cancel these changes.

Submit a Sunset Course Proposal in Coursedog
This guide will show how to create and submit a Sunset a Course(s) proposal in Coursedog. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. For users with access to multiple Coursedog modules, please check that you are working in the desired module. If you need to switch modules, select theicon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Submit a Sunset Course Proposal Step 1: On the Coursedog Curriculum landing page, select the + New Proposal option on the right side of the screen. Step 2: Select Course Proposal in the What would you like to do today? dropdown menu, then select Sunset a Course(s) from the What type of proposal would you like to request? dropdown menu. Step 3: Select Go to Form. Step 4: In the Executive Summary section, select the Academic Level (Career) from the dropdown menu, then provide information in the Please provide a narrative overview of the changes you are proposing and the rational for said changes text box. Step 5: Fill in all required information plus any additional information as necessary in the General section. All required information fields are marked as such. Please note that multiple courses can be added to a single Sunset Course proposal. Step 6: Describe the rationale for proposing to sunset the courses and list any programs that might be impacted by sunsetting the suggested courses. Step 7: When all information has been entered, select Submit Proposal on the right side of the screen under Actions.

How to Submit a Program Proposal in Coursedog
This guide will show the user how to create and submit a new program proposal in Coursedog. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. For users with access to multiple Coursedog modules, please check that you are working in the desired module. If you need to switch modules, select theicon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Submit a Program Proposal Step 1: On the Coursedog Curriculum landing page, select the + New Proposal option on the right side of the screen. Step 2: Select Program Proposal in the What would you like to do today? dropdown menu, then select New Program from the What type of proposal would you like to request? dropdown menu. Please note: to edit or sunset a program, select the Programs option under the Curriculum Management menu to search for and choose the specific program to make these requests. Step 3: Select Go to Form. Step 4: To pre-populate proposal data into the system, select Copy From Proposal, then select the proposal from the populated list. Select Close to close the window without selecting a proposal. Step 5: To copy information from an existing program, select Copy From Program. Enter information into the text field to populate a list to choose from, then select Copy Program. Step 6: Fill in all required information plus any additional information as necessary. All required information fields are marked as such with red “required” labels, and some fields may generate additional related fields that must be completed. Step 7: When all information has been entered, select Submit Proposal on the right side of the screen under Actions.

This guide will show the user how to access and edit a program proposal in Coursedog. Logging into Coursedog Select the Coursedog icon on the myStevens landing page. On the following page, select the Click to Sign In button to access Coursedog. For users with access to multiple Coursedog modules, please check that you are working in the desired module. If you need to switch modules, select theicon in the upper right corner of the landing page, then select the correct module. Edit a Program Proposal Step 1: On the Coursedog Curriculum landing page, select the Programs option under the Curriculum Management menu. Step 2: On the Programs page, select how to browse the programs; by Dates or by Terms, then select the Start/End Dates or Start/End Terms. To search for a specific program, use the Search field on the right side of the screen. Click on a program to open it. Step 3: On the program screen, select Edit Program under Actions on the right side of the screen to make changes. Step 4: Select the desired fields to make edits to the program. Step 5: When all desired changes have been made, select Save Changes under Actions on the right side of the screen. To exit out of this screen without saving changes, select Cancel Edit.
