• Access the help feature & administration guide within Adaptive
• Observe how the administration guide changes based on what you are looking at (sheets, dashboards).  

• Go through global navigation menu
• Become familiar with key terminology

• View data versus data input
  

• Understand the different components of the M&S & Other Comp Expense sheet
• Get to the lowest level and suppress zero's
• Override an existing row that has an approved budget amount
• Add a row when suppress zero's in turned on

• Isolate a specific cost center at the lowest level
• Suppress zero's using the display options function
• Explore the breakback method
• Understand blue cells versus white cells
• Input budgets using the override row

• Explore the menu toolbar, which is the same in all sheets
• Understand what each icon represents
• Download a sample sheet into Excel using the download icon

• Ensure you are viewing the highest level
• Explore lower level org views to see personnel within a specific org level and cost center
• View row details

• Create a new pool by adding a row
• Enter Cost Center, GL_Account, and Annual Amount
• Save changes

• View the personnel sheet and its components
• Explore further drilling capabilities for different views of the data

• Confirm all sheets that a budget coordinator needs are available
• Use the Income Statement
• Locate the level pull-down menu in a given sheet
• Locate the version pull-down menu in the same sheet
• Explore the Income Statement within sheets
• Change the level pull-down to a different level to view the changes

• Confirm your level by going to the lowest level intersection
• Suppress zeros to see limited rows using display options
• Budget in a subtotal cell and apply breakback method
• Change display options and put budget in two months, not all twelve.

• Navigate to the Budget Coordinator Dashboard to see the full list of dashboard capabilities
• Understand that sheets feed into this dashboard
• Get to the Dashboard homepage
• Click on a sub-category (for example M&S & Other Comp)
• Expand the dashboard cube sheet  and add in budget data in the override row
