View My Advisees​​ in Workday

This article shows a user how to view their Advisees in Workday.

Step 1: Open the Global Navigation menu (the A picture containing icon

Description automatically generated icon) on the left side of the Workday Today homepage.

Step 2: Select Advising in the Apps section on the Workday homepage.


The Global Navigation menu expanded from the Workday Today homepage. A series of Apps are listed in the menu, with the Advising app highlighted.



Step 3: Select the My Advisees tab on the Dashboard





Step 4: Select a student’s name to view their profile.

 A screenshot of the my advisees interface. The advisee roster for faculty advisors section shows the following for each student: photo, student name, preferred first name, academic level, program of study, latest class standing, latest load status, latest academic standing, GPA: cumulative overall, academic period start, expected completion date and student cohort. The user selects a student's name to view more information on their student profile. The user selects the gear icon in the top right corner of the section to refresh, edit settings, show chart, download to excel or view more options.
