Installing MIMICS
- Mimics is a medical image processing software used in the fields of biomedical engineering, orthopedics, and dentistry. It allows users to create 3D models of anatomical structures based on medical imaging data, such as CT scans and MRI images. If you work in these fields, you might need Mimics to create accurate and detailed 3D models for diagnosis and treatment planning.

Troubleshooting
If you are unable to access the license server and you have confirmed that you connected to the VPN, you may need to flush the cache. The DNS (Domain Name System) cache contains all the information needed to convert a domain name into its IP address which is used to request information from the server. If you are having connectivity problems (disconnection or lag) clearing out this cache (called 'Flushing') can help resolve the issue or improve your connection.
Step 1: Press the Windows Key (the key on the left side of the spacebar, between ctrl and alt)
Step 2: Type cmd
Step 3: Right-click the Command Prompt shortcut and select Run as Administrator from the drop-down menu. You should now see a black window with white letters
Step 4: Type ipconfig /release in the command prompt and press Enter

Step 5: Type ipconfig /renew in the command prompt and press Enter
Step 6: Type ipconfig /flushdns in the command prompt and press Enter
Step 7: Close the command prompt and attempt to make a connection
