Installing Microsoft Visio
Visio is a diagramming software used for creating a wide range of diagrams, such as flowcharts, network diagrams, and floor plans. It offers a range of templates and shapes for various diagram types, and allows users to collaborate and share diagrams with others. If you need to create professional-looking diagrams for presentations or reports, Visio might be a useful tool.

Note: Available for Windows only. If you are a Mac or Linux user, please log into https://stevens.apporto.com/ to utilize this software.
Step 1: Navigate to https://azureforeducation.microsoft.com/devtools and Sign in with your Stevens Credentials
Step 2: From the Azure Education landing page, select Software from the menu on the left side of the page
Step 3: Using the search bar, search for Visio. From the results, click on the version of Visio you would like. In this example, we are using Visio Professional 2021
Step 4: Click View Key and take note of the license key. Click Download
Step 5: Once the installation file is downloaded, it will be saved as an .iso file. Navigate to your Downloads folder, and find the .iso file. Double click on and open Setup
Step 6: On the User Account Control page, select Yes
Note: If you use a Stevens-owned computer and are prompted for administrator credentials at this step, please contact Client Support Services.
Step 7: Visio will begin to install through the Office installer. Wait for this to finish
Step 8: Once this completes, you can search for Visio in the Windows search bar. Select Open
Step 9: Once Project opens, it will ask you for a license key. Copy and Paste the license key from step 4. Once entered, Project will activate and can be used normally
Note: If you would like quick access to Visio in the future, select Pin to taskbar This will place it at the bottom of your screen in the Windows taskbar.
